Terms of Service

Last updated: September 7, 2026

These terms govern your use of ThreatTrace. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and in accordance with these terms.

Using ThreatTrace

You must provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and use the service only for lawful investigations and security work. You are responsible for the messages and data you submit and for having the right to analyze them.

Analysis results

ThreatTrace provides investigative signals and supporting context, not a guarantee that an email is safe or malicious. You remain responsible for reviewing evidence and making decisions. Do not rely on an automated result as the sole basis for an emergency, financial, employment, or other high-impact decision.

Acceptable use

You may not abuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt unauthorized access to the service. You may not upload content that violates another person’s rights or use ThreatTrace to facilitate fraud, harassment, or unlawful surveillance.

Your content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant ThreatTrace the limited permission needed to process that content, operate the service, and produce the investigation results you request.

Service changes and termination

We may improve, change, or suspend parts of the service. We may suspend access when necessary to protect the service or address a violation of these terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

Disclaimers and contact

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, ThreatTrace is not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the service. Questions about these terms can be sent to the ThreatTrace team through the support channel associated with your account.
